What period does the venue hire cover?

The venue hire covers from 8am on the morning of the wedding until midnight of the evening of the wedding.

Can we have access to the room the day before the wedding for setting up?

In most circumstances, yes. However, you will need to check with our team upon booking to confirm there are no major functions the day before. Usually we close off the area with dividers to start setting up at 12pm the day before.

What is included in the venue hire price?

The venue hire includes:

  • Exclusive use of our restaurant bar and terrace area
  • Use of two golf buggies for bride groom and photographer at allocated time
  • Use of our round tables and restaurant chairs
  • Table cloths / napkins
  • Glassware
  • Use of cake knife
What is the maximum capacity for day guests?

The maximum capacity for day guests is 100 people.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the venue has wheelchair access. There is a ramp leading up to the restaurant and terrace area. We also have disabled parking and a disabled toilet in our restaurant.

Are we allowed fireworks?

Yes, if they are provided and set off by The Causeway team, fireworks are allowed.

Can we put decorations up?

Yes, decorations are allowed. However, we cannot allow anything to be stuck to our walls because this may cause damage to the wallpaper.

Is confetti allowed?

Yes, confetti is allowed as long as it is biodegradable.

Can we supply our own drinks?

Yes, but there will be a corkage charge, the price of this depends on the drink supplied.

Can we request specific drinks?

Absolutely! Please speak with a member of our wedding team to organise this.
